Oyster No Date ?

OK
A dealer I know happened to call me today.
He has quite a few Oyster no dates.
Told me he is selling them for $4400 and he thinks
they are a smart collectors piece yada yada yada

Anyone have any thoughts?

I really do not need one nor do I think they are going to become some high demand watch BUT he seems to feel otherwise (or just needs to move some inventory) so I thought Id at least come ask the Gurus for their advice.

Thanks!

I concur with you, he is moving inventory.

I really do not see those ever being a collectable item, but if you like them, then go for it!

No, he's just trying to unload inventory.

Thanks!
Exactly what I thought and why I didn't have much
interest at all when he called.

My salesman at Louis Vuitton called me and they are
raising prices on Tue so I will go there and buy some
goodies in place of the Oyster ND....

The Oyster Perpetual no-date is a 34mm watch, silmilar in size to the Air-King..

The latest change to the Oyster Perpetual line for this year is an increase to 36mm in size. This will put this piece at the same size as the DJ and the Explorer.

So, perhaps the 34mm's will be discontinued
