UK GTG in Bristol this Thursday 21st August

I know this is a long shot but another watch forum I belong to is holding a GTG near Bristol (UK) this Thursday evening.

I have seen one or two names around here from the Bristol area and it would be good to get a few of us together.

Any takers?

The venue is

MASONS ARMS See Map
94, Gloucester Road, BS35 3QJ
Tel. Thornbury

If you're interested, please pm me and I'll let the organiser know for numbers.

Cheers - Simon

Would love to be able to attend but I suspect that just about every UK GTG would be too far for me. ( don't suppose all you Englanders fancy a day oot up where we men chase Haggis whilst wearing kilts & playing the pipes? ).
Hope it goes great Simon

Hi Simon, that's real shame I am away in the North for a few days later this week and would have joined you all...only 25 mins drive from here. The Masons is just on the A38 north of the Interchange, handy venue...crap beer
My regards to all

A real shame Harvey, but a good excuse! And Simon, folk will arrive from about 7.30pm. I'll be there just after and hope to see you.

Any more SW TRF'ers?

Jim, if you're a short-ass and can't reach them Mate you need to get a stool or something, usually worth the effort

I live in London, so Bristol is a wee bit far.

Thanks for the invite though. Hope it goes really well.

Good luck with the GTG.
Hopefully the London one is still going ahead in October ?
We should all meet up then.
