Finally, Here are my #6538 4 line SUB Pics
I'm the worst at basic computer skills, but give me an NHRA Super Stocker, and I'm good to go...lol
I must have got something out of that book "Computer's for > " Such great, great stuff on here. Nice helpful members. I've already some new favorites in mind if I move on this watch. Yes it needs a cleaning & buff polish, Crown won't screw into tube (stripped?) I don't want to force tighten it. Redialed when serviced some years ago when radium started flaking and dusting off. Wish I knew then what I know now right?) But it works fine even after it sat a couple years. It's the 1958 4-line Chronometer. Dial is expensive. NOS & used Crown/Tube are obtainable. But whew, gets expensive for a 50 year old Rolex i'd love to wear most everyday but.... I don't have F.U.money to throw at it just in case anything happens. Yes it is my 20 year dilemma, and almost 10 of it just wondering.... Any info or ideas keep or sell will be appreciated. |
