Complete rolex collection (suggestions welcome)
Hey guys,
Really looking to round out my Rolex collection. Currently have YG Daytona, WG Submariner, SS Sub, 16710 Pepsi, and an Omega Seamaster. The SS Sub is unworn with all plastics in place. I only sized it and it's been sitting in my safe. I think the SS Sub has become redundant in my collection due to the addition of the Smurf so I am thinking of flipping it. I will likely flip for a DD40. Thoughts and suggestions pls! Should i keep the sub and add dd40 or flip the ss sub towards the DD40? PS. I also intend to add a White Dial Ceramic Daytona when/if prices are decent, that or a White Patek 5711.

The DD would be a great choice but your SS Sub is a great everyday watch so I would keep it and save for the DD. Just my two cents.

Flip the SubC for a DD40
Flip the SMP for DaytonaC But whatever you choose you have a fantastic collection!

I would trade Omega (if no sentiments are attached to it) and SS Sub for a DD40. And since you have WG Sub and YG Daytona, perhaps a RG DD40?

Yachtmaster 116622 rhodium dial.
Rid the Omega, replace with 116500 white Daytona That's a nice little collection

If money isn't an issue, I'd keep the Sub and add the DD. If that were my collection, I'd flip the YG Daytona but only because YG doesn't suit me, no other reason

The YG Daytona was a grail to me, that one isn't going anywhere. The dd40 is in planning, as is the daytona c

I was keeping it for this reason but it just doesn't have the same presence the Smurf has. And the smurf is discreet enough where I can wear it "daily" without concern.

Solid line up. You definitely need a dress piece. Unless you have large wrists I still think the 36mm DD suits that role best.
If that were my collection I'd keep the YG Daytona + GMT and flip the rest for something like a Patek or ALS. |

Omega is just a little sentimental. Love a RG DD40 but to me the Day Date was always meant to be Yellow Gold.

The RG DD40 with the Green Dial has been catching my eye a lot, I mean how could it not with the recent love it's been getting here. Yet still, when I think DD, I think Yellow Gold.
