Is it possible?
I was lucky enough to get my hands (wrist) on a BLNR recently. Is it possible to be in love with an inanimate object?

I think the term "love" is not appropriate to describe the feelings of the owner for his/her Rolex -- the word "love" is not strong enough to express that very special relationship.

There are quite a few inanimate objects I love. Watches being only one category.

Mine is passion, I think. I would never trade any of Rolex watches currently under my ownership to trade for the highest end watch or something like I would call holly grail
Anyone can be deep into the objects be it a car or a watch in this case

"Captivated" certainly gets closer to describing the relationship between an owner and his/her Rolex. "Enraptured" ???

It ain't gonna thank you for resting it down on the crown like that, never mind love you in return!

Love in the flowery, lazy language sense, not the literal, emotional sense. No, you can only truly love money.

And football, Neil. You forgot football (proper football I mean, not rugby in helmets and full body armour)
