Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA Band??
I purchased the Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA about a year ago. I absolutely love the watch but the one complaint I have is that, in my opinion, the stainless steel band for a 44mm watch should not be the same size as the bands for their standard 40mm watches. To me, it should be a few millimeters wider.
With that, my question is does anyone out there know a source for a larger oyster style stainless steel band that would fit the 44m Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA? Thanks very much! |

"search" is prob a better soloution
there is a live thread in todays list http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=493534 should answer most of your questions.... and no there is not a genuine larger oyster bracelet available. it is the main(and prob the only) gripe about the DSSD

I like the tapered bracelet, reduces the feeling of having a metal wrist band. Rolex got the DSSD right in my opinion.
Try a rubber band, it's about your only alternative. |

I agree totally, the bracelet is perfect as is IMO. It has to be adjusted for the right fit though.

I'm almost certain the DSSD bracelet is going to be the only option and it really is not as bad as you hear once you remove dive extension and size properly. I recommend you do not wear loose as its too heavy. Then other than bracelet you have rubber B, Isofrane, a NATO, as well as other rubber/silicone straps in 22mm as they will easily squeeze down to fit the 21mm lugs.

Are you happy with your Rubber B? What is the width of it? it appears to tapper as it nears the clasp. Thanks |

I am considering both the rubber b and Everest strap for my sub. Even though they both cost more as one of my new tires on my car($218), I've notice a few for sale here from members apparently didn't like them. I love the bracelet on my subc, but a change would be nice. It looks dressy but in the same breath it gives the watch a different look. I'm still debating to getting it. If I do I will get the buckle model and a spring bar tool.
