Anyone knows the UK price for 5296G-010 ?

I am flying to London soon and I was wondering if anyone here knows the current retail price of the 5296G-010 and how much VAT will be actually deducted at the airport. I know the VAT rate is 20% but guys like Global Blue understandably take a chunk out of that for themselves.

It was £17,700 back in July but prices have gone up by 10% since 1st August so that would make it about £19,400 now. I just picked mine up and will claim the VAT back next week when I travel back to Qatar. I think you get about 14% back not the full 20%.

Based on what you said there, I assume you paid for it in July and got it in September? How certain are you that prices went up 10%? In Dubai prices went down 5% in August and in Riyadh nothing moved.

UK PP prices went up on the 1st of August

The 5167A I was looking at went from £12,400 to £13,750

TBH I don't know this was going to be my first PP purchase but had a change of heart.

I called the PP Salon and it's 19,590 GBP.
16,625 GBP without tax but including Global Blue charges.

It is possible to get discounts in the UK

Any idea of the range? In Riyadh discounts run up to 10% for less popular models like this one.

10 - 20% possible for many models but all depends on the model and the relationship with the AD. However I didn't get any discount when I bought my 5711 or 5167 but got discounts for other models. Find an AD who has a 5296G in stock, it is easy to negotiate for a discount if they have the particular model in stock
