Chronext - Non UK Rolex

I'm in the throws of looking for a brand new non-date Submariner. Chronext are listing them for £5410 which is virtually the same as a UK AD but can have it with me in 2 weeks. Has anyone bought a Rolex from Chronext recently and if so would they recommend them? and what are the pitfalls to buying non UK AD watch? Thanks for your advice.

For starters only a 2 year warranty as against 5 years from an AD!

Thats odd, they say you get the full 5 year international warranty. Is it not the same as buying a watch whilst away on holiday?

Correct, 5 years it is. Not that it matters, most likely you are not going to need the warranty ever and certainly not after 2 years. Any fault would have appeared by then

It is 5 years and it will be from probably a German AD. They are the top dogs in the UK right now having usurping Iconic with their prices and great service so no worries. Check out reviews on TZ-UK

Bought my SD4k from them in November at approx. 10% off UK list price. Papers came stamped with European AD and name left blank, watch was in protective plastics. Service in their store was great, staff were helpful and patient. No worries.
