2015 used or 2010 never worn
Would you rather have a 2010 model that had never been worn or a 2015 used model in excellent condition? Both are the same price. Opinions welcome please.

Which watch? Would the 2010 have your name on the papers?

I'd go for the newer(2015) model. Im assuming the 2015 has a longer warranty than the 2010 piece.

I'd go for the untouched nos and make your own scratches. If it's running inconsistent not hard to quickly service.

2015... 5 year warranty and just because its been "worn" doesnt mean "worn out"
there is a good chance the 2010 is in need of a service as its been sitting for 7 years that would be my pick

All things being equal that, the 2015 is in good condition, I would go with the newer watch. You are paying for a seven year old DJ. Plenty of good examples in the pre-owned market to see what kind of deal is out there to be had.

2010 nos everyday. They are the same model. Wearing did more damage than 5 year stocking. A lot more.

I would consider the 2015. Better warranty and resale value.

my friend is going through this with a used explorer 2.
the 40mm is 20 years old and the 42mm is 4 years old - very close in price. so for you? always get the newer one, especially with the open card. you can buy the NOS - but it's due for an overhaul - so add that to the cost and your troubles. |

If a 2010 and a 2015 both have the same price, one if them is priced wrong.

2015 has seen wrist time, 2010 is new in the box. I am guessing that is why they are priced the same?

Is it an AD purchase and will you receive a warranty on the 2010? If so, I'd go with that one. If not, 2015.
