New band on dj

I tried to put a leather band on my dj
Is it better now, or the original one ??

leather can be a nice swap but in my experience i prefer and integrated strap - meaning it fits the case snugly without the space between case/spring bars.

everest makes curved leather and with steel endlink although i'm not sure if they make one for this model.
