Not a chance....No way! I'd sell a Sky-D though to buy a complet 16520 if I didn't own one.

Do you ever wear it? If not, sell it and buy something you would wear.

I do wear it as in most weekends and do love it, the thing is I fancy something slightly bigger and an annual calendar has always been on my list.

Then go for it. Don't let other people cloud your perception of value. I feel that you want to do it so do it!

Then why do a post and ask others?

If you don't wear it or have any sentimental value, I would sell. In the end it's just a watch and what value you personally assign it.

I think if I was 100% I wouldn't post, as is I'm leaning towards moving the 16520 on due to the fact I honestly think a sky dweller annual calendar from my favourite manufacturer is just too good to pass up at this price point.
At pm prices I honestly thought I could never justify one but at this price point it looks very tempting.

Depends how much you value history and if you're a collector. If you want a watch to wear, I would considering moving the Daytona for the SkyD if it sings to you that much. Just be sure to try it on first.

I would hold on to the Zenith Daytona and buy the Sky Dweller (when I have the funds)...this would eliminate second guessing later on...

Could someone explain to me what is meant by Zenith Daytona. I'm sure it is something very simple and I will feel dumb, but I don't really know.

Zenith is the manufacturer of the movement Rolex used for this model

16520, introduced in '88 used the famous high-beat El Primero 4030 movement by Zenith.

I don't really have a thing for them....that said with the way these watches are climbing these days in value, I would sell as a last option.

I'd do it if I fancied a change and couldn't have both. My collection isn't about value. If I don't wear or like my watches, they have to go to make room for something else.

Would you sell a zenith Daytona.......

Love affairs come and go. If the Zenith is feeling dull and the SD beckons, then follow your heart... you may regret it later but better to have loved and lost than.... blah blah blah

The sky dweller does nothing for me, but I've always liked the zenith Daytona.

I sold my Black about 5 years ago. No regrets. I did not like the skinny hands.

I wouldn't....but I have made some REALLY bad trades in the last few years...like my 3700 Nautiluses. My best advice is to save up for the Sky D and keep the Daytona.
