Gold screws
Does anyone know how much the DD40 bracelet screws cost in the US?
Are they 18k gold or plated? |

On all gold precious metal watches the screws are solid gold as too are the spring bars not sure of the exact cost but knowing Rolex around $100-$200 each.Any watch thats has a assay hallmark on bracelet or case all parts must be solid gold purity of the assay stamp value in Rolex case 18Ct.

For the DD, it would be obvious the screws are gold since the DD (and its unique screws) is only made in PM, but is there a way to easily distinguish PM springbars? |

I don't think steel screws and gold links work well together. The harder steel might tend to strip the inner threads on the softer gold links. I have always heard the screws and the spring bars are 18K on the pm Rolex.

I have seen no markings on the PM springbars. Only way to be sure is to buy from an AD

Yes, this would work also.
I'm aware of the WG hue/tone, but wouldn't it be a little difficult to pick up when comparing springbars??? |
