Gold screws

Does anyone know how much the DD40 bracelet screws cost in the US?
Are they 18k gold or plated?

On all gold precious metal watches the screws are solid gold as too are the spring bars not sure of the exact cost but knowing Rolex around $100-$200 each.Any watch thats has a assay hallmark on bracelet or case all parts must be solid gold purity of the assay stamp value in Rolex case 18Ct.

Ah yes, thank you for the info!!
For the DD, it would be obvious the screws are gold since the DD (and its unique screws) is only made in PM, but is there a way to easily distinguish PM springbars?

I don't think steel screws and gold links work well together. The harder steel might tend to strip the inner threads on the softer gold links. I have always heard the screws and the spring bars are 18K on the pm Rolex.

I have seen no markings on the PM springbars. Only way to be sure is to buy from an AD

I should have been more specific. I meant to say distinguishing steel vs whitegold springbars.

I guess weight would work as well.

Color too, although it does require a little more attention to detail.

White gold has a champagne glow to it, side by side it's impossible to confuse it with SS.

I'm aware of the WG hue/tone, but wouldn't it be a little difficult to pick up when comparing springbars???

It would be harder than other methods, yes. May be useful as an extra tell sign, certainly not the only one!
