My Travel Kit

This is how I travel

1) Rolex YM 16622
2) Rolex Pouch
3) Everest Rubber Tang Buckle Strap
4) Spring Bar tool

This setup works pretty much on any occasions. How about your travel kit?

Back at th peak of my Panerai fever I carried a similar kit with 2 extra straps and tools. If I could resize a pic I'd post it

Nice Kit! I don't bring a strap/tool just an extra watch if I think I will want to switch up.

What you're really missing is the WatchPod https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJPVH7N

Better quality and style than the casebudi and Oakley vault in my opinion after using all of them for a long time.

Would be interested if there is a travel case which can fit 2 or 3 watches which isn't Smythson or Smythson prices!

Like several others, I just strap it on and go. I generally don't tinker so there is no need for me to bring a travel kit.

How's the fit? I saw those watchpods, but what put me off is the "fits up to 48mm watches." 8mm is a lot of space to fill to make a sports Rolex snug. The small Oakley and Casebudi fit like a glove.

I need a couple more and so far Casebudi is the winner.

The WatchPod has a slightly larger fit so I wrap my Rolexes in a microfiber cloth when I put them in, which also gives even more shock protection.

It fits my larger watches snug with no cloth, but the small Casebudi doesn't. So I guess you can say the Pod is more versatile for me.

Will do my friend. I travel a decent bit and usually like to bring two or more watches so these should see plenty of use from me. I'll let you know my thoughts soon

Usually can't decide on which watch to take, so i usually take a few. This case works great.

So I received both the Watchpod and the Casebudi in the mail today (Amazon next day delivery is truly the bomb)... And I gotta say between the two I much prefer the Casebudi.

The Watchpod is nice but there's far too much empty room in there for my liking (even with the microfiber cloth). I tried my both my Sub and my GMT Master II (BLNR) and they move around a lot in that Watchpod. It's probably not an issue but with the smaller Casebudi they are much more snug. Especially wrapped in a microfiber cloth.

So for me, I'm sold on the Casebudi. We'll see how it holds up over time but I bet it works great. Seems sturdy and of good quality. Especially for a $10 case.

Thanks

Hard_Six, thanks for the update as I've been looking at the Casebudi vs Watchpod question myself. I may have missed something, but I think the Watchpod is only available in one size and the Casebudi comes in a large and small size. Which Casebudi did you order? Thanks for the information.

I would've guessed a small but apparently it's a medium size. Here's what the Amazon description says:

"Description
CASEBUDi watch case is designed to safely hold your watch (ideal for watch faces 40mm to 44mm). This is the Standard or Medium size case. Keep your watch secure in this well made sleek case. Great for traveling. Perfect gift for anyone that likes watches."

Hope that helps
