Fair Deal or not, GMT trade on a Daytona?
Found an after-market dealer who has an early "L" Series TT Zenith-Daytona, w/o papers, is asking 6K. The Dealer is also offering to to give me $3,500 off the price of the Daytona, if I trade him my SS GMT Master, which was a 1965
purchase, Serial # 13032xx, with papers.....got a feeling that the GMT might be worth more,.....what say you? |

That's a really bad trade, is this in dollars, because $3500 for a '65 GMT is an insult unless it's in seriously bad shape. although your serial number puts the watch at 1958/59 which would make it a pre-1675 watch.
Any pictures of your watch?

Post some clear Macro shots of the watch and the pros here will give you more detailed information. Don't trade until you get more information on the watch you own. Remember, in any negotiation; the one with the most knowlege wins. Knowledge up and be prepared. |

If you list it here in the For Sale section (after you have met the requirements for doing so), you will probably do a lot better. Welcome to TRF!
