One and only Rolex

Friends, I sold my Polar Expy II with a heavy heart and now I am down to one Rolex (16610). I had to pay for some other expenses that took priority

How many of you are in the same boat? I mean one Rolex. Can you live with one? I think I can because I have other two non-Rolex - Speedy and Wenger.

I guess owning one (1) Rolex would be a luxury for most people... unless you are amongst us...

Owning a Polar Explorer II myself I am sorry to hear that you had to let it go. The Sub would have given you more money... but perhaps your Sub is to you what my Explorer 14270 is to me.

For many years I had only one; the Explorer 14270, that is on my wrist as I write this. It is THE keeper for me. The others I could get rid of... but it would be a BIG problem for me if my financial situation depended on my watches only... but who knows what might happen in times like this.

I wish you luck, solving your issues, and eventually getting hold of an Ex II again.

Best,

A

How about none? I sold a Sub a few years back, my only Rolex I'd ever owned. : dummy:

I still cry about it. But I'm working towards another soon.

Very true! I am a one-Rolex owner (see below). More would be nice? - yes. But I can only wear one at a time, so I am basically content. I figure I'm lucky to have three really great, classic watches to choose from on any given day. That makes me "watch-poor" only by the standards of a place like this.

Just one oyster? I thought I could but truth be told at least 2 are essential. However 4 to 6 work best for me.

Richard,

I have actually sized down a little. I gave my brother my Stainless GMT IIc, and sold my Stainless/Platinum Yatchmaster to a very good friend of mine. So, this is what I'm left with for now! I do find myself wearing my Sea-Dweller & Explorer II most of the time, and wearing my all gold GMT IIC during an evening out and through-out the weekends.

Matt

Ι've got only one too

If things go well hopefully next christmas i'll be able to buy my grail watch

Living with one watch sometimes is boring but you know that it is always there just for you and i sometimes i cant stop admiring my only watch

It's warm feeling when something that you own makes you happy

I've only got the one Rolex now, won't be buying any more Rolexs for some time. I do have a small collection of other watches - Omega, Tag, Tissot, Frederique, Seiko, Bulova, etc.
