Day Date 40 Airport Pickup - Wanted one of these for a long time!

Absolutely delighted to pick up my new DD40 in YG at the Rolex Boutique at Heathrow before my flight out to NYC. Thanks to the staff there for sorting it out and making it an enjoyable experience. I'm sure I'll get some amazing wrist shots out in NYC.

The watch looks awesome. Is the dial silver or white?

Have a nice flight

Stunning. Hope you got a great deal. Wish I could do YG.. although your skin complexion is similar to mine. 🤔

Huge congrats, I'm assuming you spent your entire flight staring at the watch and not the match on your tv lol.

Great choice. Cheers mate! I just love these '80s inspired 3D romans on the DD40s. There's really nothing like a fresh President bracelet and although I like the conservative 36 size, I've got to say they hit the 40 out of the park! I've tried the WG/blue/romans and platinum/motif dial and they feel wonderful. It makes the DD2 look tacky with it's proportions by comparison except for the platinum model with the glacier dial, blue hands and romans. For men with big wrists I could understand them preferring the DD2 but this is so much more refined and the power reserve on the 3255 must be great! That watch always spoke to me but if I were in the market for a platinum piece I would go for a Platona.

Congrats!! You're going to be staring at it for a long time!! Really perfect size at 40mm. I just picked up mine a few weeks ago and always can't wait to wear it again.
