Opinions Please
Hi how's everyone doing. Just looking for some opinions on these 2 straps I've just purchased. I like them both but I'm not sure if I like how the watch sits on the NATO strap. What yall think. I have a Everest strap as well. Just looking to try something different out.

I don't like the NATO either, the other one looks a lot better IMHO.

the excess tongue on the left side doesn't work well in my opinion.
the one on the right, looks way more clean. |

Personally I prefer Zulu, but of those options definitely the first pic- Matches the smooth blue bezel more.
I'd only wear NATO/ ZULU on a steel Sub though. While I wear nylon straps, steel is less maintenance as far as hygiene goes and is more versatile as an EDC. I have to hand it to you though, I believe real men wear NATO |

I wouldn't wear either. If I had an unmentionable to my head then I would choose the one on the right, the non-NATO, because it looks tidier. The NATO is plain hideous.
That watch looks stunning on the bracelet and that's how I would wear it.

Totally agree. IMHO These straps reduced the value and beauty of the watch. |

Neither appeals to me. There's just way too much blue. Makes the watch look cheap.

The one on the right. Cleaner, tighter, neater.

Yes another vote for the same. Much prefer the non-NATO. The aluminium rings on the NATO are the worst part of it. Colour match is good on both. I think it's good to try some variety (i.e. swap out the bracelet for a little while) and see how it goes. Rubber straps can look good as you say.

My personal preference is to keep it on the bracelet. Either of the straps shown work but just not my favorite. A Rubber B strap would look good.

Between the two given examples, the everest strap looks way sharper than the nato.

Love your posts Megan!
Personally I always cut the extra strap off Natos when I wear them so the strap is just straight under the watch. I burnish the cuts with a soldering iron so they don't fray. When you think about it the strap is just as safe this way. If one spring bar fails the other will hold the watch fine. Also the Sub that Sean Connery wore in the Bond movies never had the extra strap under it. It was undersize in width too. Arguably no one would care at all about Natos if Bond hadnt worn his Rolex that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you must, I like Megan's first pic with the gold keepers/buckle.
But I gotta be honest, I would never put that watch on anything but the bracelet. |

I love the idea of NATO straps but I dislike the bulky look they add to ANY watch outside the lugs. Zulus are better.
I think Rolex watches cry out for the original metal bracelets. Of the two blue straps pictured I prefer the second one.

I like the one on the right but think they both have to much blue.
