Rolex Explorer ll 1655

Caught another Rolex Explorer ll 1655 which belonged to a long time friend. He called and offered me several of his watches that are not getting enough wrist time.

I managed to buy this Rolex, a first generation Breitling Navitimer 806 pilot's chronograph and a ww2 Omega military watch issued to the British Navy.

This 1655 has a mk4 Stern dial which matches well with its 5.6m serial number. Cones with the original oyster bracelet.

Nice! And let's see the Navitimer! The 806 is a very under-rated vintage timepiece, IMHO. Hard to find nice ones.

Interesting. I've never seen an 806 like that, with orange hands. Was that customized?
