Hi guys. I am just wondering if anybody knows if the Orange 24-hour hand of the explorer 2 216570 black dial, is made of gold and how it is painted???

I believe all of the hands are white gold. Not sure how they are painted though. I would like to know too. In particular, what is the black coating at the base of the hands made of?
