tazzy1 ("Tom") Rolex Aficionado and Extraordinaire
As most members would say "Tom is a great guy to work with" or "Excellent transaction with Tom" and so would I.
I recently purchased a DD 40 from Tom after countless text messages going back and forth requesting pictures of the watch to ensure that it was actually in his possession and it was as described and to haggle the price as most trf members do. Tom stated that he was firm on his price but so was I. In the end we met at the price that I was willing to pay and the price that he was willing to sell. After all of the hardcore negotiations, Tom mentioned that he was selling the watch after a horrific motorcycle accident. I guess that Deers enjoy sitting on Harleys much more than he does.. so much that the Deer bucked him off the bike. My first thought was that Tom was selling the watch since it brought him bad luck. He reassured me that it didn't. Its unfortunate that I was able to acquire the magnificent timepiece after such an accident but fortunate that I had a chance to meet Tom and have an "excellent" transaction. Thanks buddy! |
