Two weeks with the Pepsi C

After wearing the 116719BLRO for two weeks here are some of my thoughts.

The weight and warmth of gold is actually quite nice. The bracelet balances the head well, on a strap I could see it being a bit top heavy.
Lots of very fine scratches particularly to the polished center links. a bit of a rub line from the easy link but no serious scratches. The gold seems durable enough I'm not going to worry about it for daily wear.
After setting the time when received, the watch is running three seconds fast. Not per day, but total over the two weeks I have been wearing it. Likely from leaving it laying on its side overnight, if left dial up time gained or loss seems to be close to zero.
Overall a great watch that I don't regret buying one bit.

I was told today the ceramic red is very difficult to,produce. Such that most are thrown away afterwards. By Rolex. Making red in this manner apparently requires a lot... and the quality control from Rolex on these is ridiculously stringent. Gorgeous watch also . !

I still have never seen a BLRO personally and now that we no longer have an AD in Albuquerque, it's unlikely I ever will.

I can tell by the pictures that I would love it, even if I could never afford one without selling my whole collection.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

Hiya Cajunmustang, While not from here I have been here a few years and really starting to like it.

Grady, it was seeing and holding it in person that convinced me to take the plunge. The white gold while looking like steel at first glance has a subtle golden glow to it that is amazing.

Rockwell, couldn’t agree more, my other watches are being neglected.

I've had mine in the rotation since March. At first the weight felt significant then you get used to it and it feels normal. Been out of town for the past few days for the holidays and worn it everyday and love it. Only thing I wish was different was no PCLs. It would be a little more subtle

I’ve had mine since September and just love it. Part of a small rotation I wear it 1 week per month. Yes it picks up Hairlines on the PCL but it’s a great daily wear type watch and a firm favourite in my collection
