GMT Master II Ceramic Security Cover!
Can anyone help me with a bugging query!!
A purchased a GMT Master II Ceramic two weeks ago and am totally smitten. The AD adjusted the bracelet by taking 1 link out from 6 o'clock and 1 link from 12 o'clock (to better centralise the clasp) and the fit is now perfect. What I have noticed is that the security cover rattles and moves very freely when the braclet is fully openned. I know this sounds trival but it is starting to anoy me! Has anyone else had this experience, or is the security cover designed not to move freely when openned? |

Are you talking about the flip-lock clasp? Mine doesn't flop around freely when opened.

If you are talking about the flip-lock, then it should have about a mm of side play when opened, and rotate fully on it's attaching pin..
Maybe we need a picture of your particular issue..........

I'm not sure what the "security cover" is. I don't notice mine making any sounds. Can you take a picture of the clasp?

Thanks for all replys. The security cover is the small hinged cover that fits over the larger clasp. Took a look at friends GMT Master II ceramic and his is similar. Not really a big problem just wanted to make sure that it was not a case of incorrect pin used when links removed etc. Now I know all is ok.
