So I have a 116710LN and a BLNR. Brushed the bracelet on the LN bracelet for some diversity. Can now swap between the LN or BLNR at will. Here it is on the LN. thoughts?

The red scotchbrite pads. Doesn't look as good as if I would have taken the bracelet to a local CW21, but close enough for government work. I'll pop it on the blnr and take a pic, but we've already seen that from other threads, so im not in a hurry tonight ;)

How difficult would it be to reverse at a CW21?

I'm going to disagree with many of the posts here and say it looks awful. You've ruined the watch when you could have easily sourced a glidelock bracelet for less than $2k. You've also destroyed the resale value of your watch.

Well, I don’t have $2k I’m willing to drop on a glide lock bracelet and I’m not concerned with resale as I don’t really buy to resale. The only watches I’ve ever flipped were non-Rolex. And those all took huge resale hits because of their watch brand name.

You missed the point. I also have a blnr. If I need to resale the LN that bad and am concerned with resale value, I’ll swap it out with the blnr pcl bracelet. But I’m not concerned with resale as I don’t plan on getting rid of it.

But ur entitled to ur opinion. To each is own.

Also, I hardly consider this ruined. Now if I would’ve done a bamford pvd coating, that would be ruined. This is easily reversible.

Re polishing the centre links cost nothing. It’s a very easy reversal.

Good job! Looks really nice! I'm really lovin' the brushed look over the PCL's. Did you have to mask off the other parts of the watch while you went at it with the Scotchbrite pad? Or, did you go over the outer links too so that everything matches? The grain looks really even and matches very well.

It looks good man. There are actually pads you can buy (similar to those scrotchbrite pads) that will give you a the brushed look identical to the original brush.

Anyway you did a great job. Better than some jewelers polishing watches. LOL

Some of us buy Rolex watches and don’t care about reselling, but it doesn’t matter, because brushing a bracelet is easily reversible. I’d do it to nearly every PCL model out there.

I would have taken it to a pro, but I like the original brushed finish that Rolex does. Taking a scotchbrite pad to a 8k watch band IMO is crazy, but if that’s the look you are going for...
