Which has more wrist presence?
Simple poll for what you think would have more wrist presence in everyday situations - of course to us WIS, the answer is BOTH, but you can only vote once in the poll.

bluesy for me, simply because YG DD is a little too much to wear in the office.

DD easily. Its not just about the color of the dial, that YG president bracelet has wrist presence like no other.

Actually not a simple question
Tried them both on. The YG DD (that had the green dial) is smaller, way less contrast, but flashier do to the full YG. The TT LB is bigger, and i found out that the steel, gold, sunburst blue dial gave it a more dynamic feel and presence. I can't decide 1oo% between them as which has more wrist presence, but i would tend to give the edge to the TT LB. |

Have the Bluesy. Not a fan of all gold, green dials or 36mm.

The YG DD has more presence and is more of a statement watch than a TT watch.

DD without a doubt, we're talking presence here. Not many watches anywhere can match up with YG DD.

What do you mean by wrist presence, cannot think why anyone would want wrist presence, unless the type going around with a sticker or there forehead saying look I am wearing a Rolex.

Never sure what's being asked in these wrist presence threads. Are you asking about how the watch feels on the wrist to the wearer? Or are you asking about how noticeable the watch is to others? If the latter, the DD. If the former that depends on the wearers wrist size, dress, etc.

I own both references and it is a tough one. I honestly keep going back and forth. As mentioned above, the DD has a significant presence with the all gold president bracelet. Due to its size however, it is toned down (as much as a solid gold watch can be) in a more elegant way. The bluesy while not solid gold, has a lot of flash with the contrast of the three colours (SS, Gold and Blue Sunburst dial). I personally think it is more flashy than the solid gold variation.
So where does this leave me. Where I started I guess. Not sure? Maybe the Bluesy by a hair.

It's just math
116613 is a bigger number than either 16613 or 36. 116613 clearly has more wrist presence.
Who could possibly argue this? Oh, I almost forgot, what is the empirical definition of "wrist presence?" Size? Contrast with skin tone? Appearance in dominating a smaller wrist? |
