Hi,

This is my 5513, the pictures are showing the problem that I have with the crown.

I would be happy if you can advice me about it, it’s 5513 from 1975 so it’s supposed to be triple lock, the main problem is that the crown does not screw down closer to the case...

Any advice will help, thanks ahead

Hmm, right crown wrong crown tube? Mine didn't have crown tube that long.
As long as it screws down tight, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The watch is water proofed (checked).
The picture of the long tube, is when I pulled the crown to the hacking position, can you check yours at the same position?

It's a triple lock first series (you can recognize it for the long tube and the absence of the gasket). Correct for a watch from 1975. In the picture you posted I can't see a big distance... try to bring the watch to a watchmaker, maybe he'll tell you to not worry about it :)

emanuah: I think your's has a 703 crown which has less of a bevel than the 702 and thus looks closer to the case?

If the crown tightens right down to the case then the crown gasket is probably not doing it's job.
You need to have a small gap to ensure the crown is sealing on the gasket.

Or it has a 703 on it.
