ATV in hawaai

I’m leaving for Hawaii (my honeymoon 3 yes later). Tempted to take my GMT but we have to switch hotel (time share issue) so I can’t leave it in the room. Would you wear it while AVT riding?

Yes and I do all the time. No big deal unless you wreck and you will have other things to worry about then. Wear it.

Done that while wearing my GMT Master II. I've also snowmobiled, skied, rafted, and snorkeled. Where I go, my GMT goes. If it can't handle my activities then it's got no place in my life.

No, No, No, get a G-Shock.

These things are fragile and you're taking a chance taking it on the plane to Hawaii.

What if you hit an air pocket.

I once hit an air pocket on a plane wearing my Seadweller and the helium escape valve released all the helium into the cabin and everyone was screaming in a high pitch voice.

It sounded like the Chipmunks Christmas Album.

You'll be surprised at how tame these ATV places are in Hawaii. You'll be fine with your watch and you can always throw in your back pack or wife purse. Between injury lability and damage to the ATV's, you won't be to out of control anyway. Which island are you going to anyway? Kauai by chance?

While your Rolex will be fine during an ATV excursion, if it makes you nervous to wear it, get a $30 Casio G-Shock for the trip.

That’s as tough looking as any tool watch. It’s so clean and shiny, even Armor All on the tires, do you baby it like most people baby their Sub? ;-)
