I would pass. On a TT Rolex in this economy you should expect 20% off or better. If not go grey market, lots of deals out there.

as a general rule, when economic conditions are on balance.. you should get 10% on SS, 15% on TT, and 20% on gold.

i passed up an LV (SS) for 20% off. I would think that you should buy the TT at a minimum 20 to 25% list.

please pass on the 13.

If you are buying in this economy, make the AD get on his knees

The AD's have been abusing their positon for the last couple of years (good times). If you are buying a watch and not asking for their credit, have them get on their knees.

I bought a GMTc TT in October before the increase at an out the door price of $8,592. I did not pay taxes as i had them ship me the watch to my home state of California.

If they don't give you your terms, then walk. there are plenty of deals out in the market now.

Good luck!

thanks for all your response. the latest price for GMT-C II TT M serial is $10350. i have been dealing with this AD for couple of month now. that was his final offer. i checked around and other AD's have it 5-10%. i would like to get it brand new though. but i am not in the hurry.

according to my CPA calculations you should pay no more than 8280 pre-tax for this watch. thats your threshold. I cant believe that 13 is final. walk in there every weekend and ask about it and walk out. they will eventually give in.. is this a store in KY?. i cant imagine that RLXs are flying out the door and you have competition to buy this watch.. in fact, if what i am assuming is true, tell them you are paying no more than 8k for this watch. i am certain others on this forum will agree that you can get it for that price. also, i would search through other posts here and read about what deals other members are currently getting at ADs across the US.
