Black bezel on 6 digit sub vs GMT
I was at an AD, they had a black bezel GMT. In comparing it to my Sub, the Bezel appeared shinier, or maybe in pitched or sized differently.
Are any of these observations fact, or Optical illusion. |

Could be a lot of things... the Sub on your wrist is being worn, so it's likely not perfectly clean like the GMT in the case.
The numbers on the GMT bezel may catch your eye more and give the appearance that it's shinier. I often think the same thing when I wear my Sub and my dad wears his BLNR. Probably just an illusion. |

the gmt has a ceramic bezel and your sub probably has an aluminum bezel

Referring to 6 digit models in both sub, and GMT, I think ceramic doesn’t degrade, so some soap suds, brand new

I could see where he greater engraving of numerals on GMT, may cause this effect, but I do question pitch of the Bezel, at perhaps, a different degree of from perpendicular...

Could well be a layer of grime and grease and whatnot on your worn sub causing less shine. A quick bath can do wonders to a watch’s shine.

It could be the pcl's making the GMT appear shinier/flashier as a whole, thus giving the illusion that the bezel is shinier as well...just a thought.
