Explorer 1 inside catch Shiny or Mat???
Inside my bracelet catch is a rough mat surface with Rolex logo printered on however all the photos I see show a shiny part with Rolex logo engraved.
Mine was bought 2012 and has the none lume 3,6,9 markers, did the change only happen on the 2016 model? Thanks |

I had questions about this not long ago too. This thread should help a bit.

Mine was purchased in 2017 with lumed 369... Its polished. I thin the transition was somewhere in 2016 time frame from the sandblasted to polished.

Yep, frosted to polished early 2016 across all bracelets.
