I've always wanted a blue Tudor Snowflake. I couldn't find one in my price range, so I bought this puppy (9411/0) for $4,800, which is a 1975 and, I'm being told, has OEM Tudor dial, hands and bezel from a service.

I then added a 78360 bracelet for $600 with 380 end links ($250).

I know its not the gorgeous faded original dial versions, but i still like it none the less. I'm never selling it and I do love it, but just curious if I'm missing something? As I'm no expert here.

If you are happy with a "new" watch which has vintage code and look, enjoy. I have a vintage GMT, with patinated dial and hands. Thats another was of loving watches...., untouched.

In my mind, both worlds can live together.

Btw: if I could find a nice blue snowflakes with brand new lumina and dial, in a nice case, at a fair price, I might consider buying it

Service parts give vintage a unique look. Not only restored functionality, it's clean and crisp presentation will appeal to some people and I'm a big fan of it.

Just make sure price is adjusted accordingly.

Defer to the experts here but I think the dial looks okay.

The service variations have the white box around the date window where the original dials didn't. The fonts also look okay to me.

Again, its a shiny new toy now so personal preference.

I love it. Reality is that a 9411 with an org dial and bezel would cost you at least $4k more. So this is a watch that you can wear every day. I wear mine in the shower, pool, ocean and even once while I took shots in net (ice hockey goalie)

Thanks, everyone!! I really appreciate that. Feels better knowing I didn't make a crazy mistake. I'm using it as a daily, swapping in/out with my 16610LV (beaten up, but paid under $10k) and Tudor 7159/0, which I absolutely love.

Looks good to me. I hate faded, beat up watches that sellers charge a premium for. I think they look awful. You did it right...enjoy! I bet it would also look great on a leather strap too.

Snowflake prices have gotten out of hands and out of the price range I am willing to pay. Nothing wrong with the route you took.

If you want to and you have the extra cash, maybe over time you’ll be able to source a vintage dial/hands/bezel and get it back to a period correct piece.

I went a different route to get my “blue snowflake”. LOL

Do you have any good recs for where to get a nice leather strap? I have one from ATTILA ASZODI, but they take so long to get.
