Bezel gap (top & bottom of watch) normal???!!!! (116710 BLNR GMT)

Hello fellow forum'ers, just traded up watch to the BLNR and have used this forum as great reference of information. Is bezel gap normal for the GMT's? I just noticed this and panicking as we speak. Previous DJII owner so never had concern with bezel, is top and bottom of watch gap normal? Wanted to check before kicking and screaming to the AD :).. Thanks in advance!!!

I'm confused as to what you're even looking at. Looks normal to me. The distance between the bezel and the first center link? If it was any closer it would hit the center link when the bezel rotates.

Normal. This is simply the space above where your bracelet connects to the case.

It is also very minimal, many other watches have an area that is much more exposed.

Just looked at mine, it's the same - a hairline gap in prefect rolex tolerances.

How else would it be able to turn without grinding on the case?

Maybe it’s a mark II bezel :), all jokes aside, yes very normal. Enjoy your GMT, it’s a great one.

.

On your DJII bezel is fixed, on the Gmt2 it is rotating. That needs some play.

Looking at mine it just appears that way on the bracelet sides, 6&12, I'm sure due to the curve on the lugs, look on the back of case and crown side it's appears tighter and more flush. No worries...

Keep in mind the ceramic bezels also use spring loaded ball bearings to rotate the bezel which also raises it slightly vs the older click springs.

Have to agree I sometimes wonder where common sense has gone today, perhaps a new bezel gap syndrome has started on forum.
