Big Surprise Incoming!!!
Got the call out of the blue this morning while at work. Rushed to get to the AD as soon as I could. What a great start to the weekend!

I went on the waitlist for both the white and black face ceramic references right after their Baselworld release (March 2016). I got the white face almost right away and have been waiting for the black ever since. So that makes it about 2.75 years waiting for the black.

Nice work... congrats! The black dial is great.

Crazy you had to wait that long for black compared to white. My local ADs have said they seem to get fewer black but not by much.

I think think a lot of it has to do with how the AD allocates them to their clients. They probably choose to sell multiple clients one rather than one person two in a short time span.
