I have the chance to purchase this watch. It is in great shape as it was just serviced at the Dallas RSC; movement # 995xxx. It has a champagne dial with a genuine brand new Rolex strap with a Rolex "PLAQUE G" buckle.
I like its simple, clean look. I already have a 14kt yg 1503/7 Oyster Date.
I see a few on ebay for under $2000.
Is that all it is worth? Seems low for an all gold case OP.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I would have to say that the size and it's low popularity is keeping the price where it is. But if you like it, then pounce!
