For sale is an excellent condition 36mm 18 karat yellow gold Audemars Piguet Perpetual Calendar. The 25548 sale is for the watch only, does not come with box or papers. The case has a stepped rounded bezel, down-turned short lugs, and correctors for the various functions. The off-white dial has applied yellow gold baton indexes, an outer minute track, sub-dials dials for the date, weekday, and month, graduation for the age of the moon, aperture for the moon phase, yellow gold baton hands for minute and hours, and blued steel hands for the day, date and month indications. The AP is on a lightly worn brown alligator strap and original tang buckle. The Audemars has been serviced, inspected, authenticated, regulated, and cleaned up for sale. The watch is running beautifully and functioning properly. We estimate the production date to be in the 1990s although the design was first introduced in 1967 in the ref 5548. The AP is powered by the calibre 2120/1 automatic movement which at the time was the thinnest full rotor self-winding movement in the world. The case back is engraved “Quantieme Perpetuel Automatique” and the C serial number.
