First WIS to "announce" new models here?

Okay, all the predictions and teasers and controversy surrounding some of the Rolex swamis predicting the future have turned this into a carnival atmosphere.

So who does anyone think will be the first TRFer to post here about the new Rolex models once they are official?!? Odds? Betting pool?

I’m going to sleep. Will read about them on page 9ish of the threads over coffee and I’m good with that.

My vote's for Tyler. He got the jump on the first teaser.

I've gotten sucked into this year's frenzy more than I think is healthy, but if I actually go out of my way to post the first thread, I'll check myself into a hospital.

What time did Rolex drop it last year, 9am local? I might stay up a few more hours if that's a possibility (sorry, know it's probably been mentioned, just don't want to sift through 1030304 pages to find it).

Announcement is happening 4am PT for me. I made the mistake last year of waking up “just to take a look” at the new releases. Ended up not going back to bed and sitting on TRF until I had to get ready for work. Yes - I know I have a problem...

You're not alone.

Other than Rolex and Tudor , is there any other brands you’re looking forward to guys? I’m eager to see what Tag Heuer has in store for their new autavia, seiko and their 50th? Anniversary for the astron and for me personally, omega and what they have coming for the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8 other than the all good speedmaster that was announced last week.

I'm curious what Omega is doing. In particular, I'm curious if they're updating the Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial (not the Diver 300M). It has only been five years since it was introduced, but it's the premier diver in their lineup, and now is the only one that isn't METAS certified. I'm hoping they ditch the fauxtina lume.

I'm also interested to see if Breitling reintroduces the Chronomat 41 in the same style they brought out last year in the 44.

TBH i was more excited about trying to figure out the teaser than i will be when the watches are officially announced.

At that point the conversation shifts from the watch to the strategy for getting that watch... and those are less nice discussions
