Tudor bracelet comfort vs Rolex Oyster

I recently purchased a Tudor BB58. So far I love the watch itself but I notice the bracelet grabs the hairs on my wrist a lot more than my Rolex bracelets do. Actually, I would say that I've never had a watch over $1,000 grab my hairs as much as this Tudor does -- Rolex, TAG, Zenith, etc..

Other than that I love the BB58, just wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

I own the ETA bracelet version and it doesn't pull my hair at all.

I feel the same way about Tudor’s bracelets! I had a BB and that bracelet would constantly make me wince.

I notice the same think on my BB ETA bracelet. I love the bracelet, but totally agree with you on the hair pulling. Not a huge deal or anything, but I have noticed it.

Not a fan of any current Tudor bracelets.

I have found them to be sharp and hairpullers.

I sold Pelagos due to it.

Yes, the gmt bracelet does pull hairs from the underside of my wrist. It is noticeable at times

None of the Rolex do this

The quality, fit and feel of the modern rolex oyster bracelets far superior but I still love my tudor

I'm not sure I would put Omega bracelets ahead of Tudor. Hair pulling aside, Tudor makes a nice and TOUGH bracelet

Then that's your opinion I can say. I own all three and Omega has great bracelets and certainly over Tudor (it costs more as well, so there..). Every link is rounded and shaped which even Rolex doesn't do.

For example: Moonwatch bracelet link - see how its rounded all the way with never sharp edges!

I wasn't suggesting Omega makes lousy bracelets or anything, it was just the "heck even Omega.." wording sounded like you were sort of trashing Tudor.

Although I do not own an Omega currently I have handled them, and to my untrained hands the Tudor just feels tougher. The Tudor clasp also feels very secure. Tudor bracelets just feel simple and tough to me. Are they up to Rolex oyster bracelets? No, but I would say just a step below. As you point out, just my opinion

I’ve never had this issue with my Tudor bracelet. I think the quality is great.

I would imagine those having issues have more hair than I.

I'm not trashing Tudor. It has great bracelet but there's no need to compare Tudor to Rolex directly, we've got Omega in between their price range. Tudor is around $4k, Omega around $6k and Rolex around $8k.

Yeah, I don't have any issue with the bracelet's strength or robustness but it is definitely nowhere near as comfortable as either of my Rolex watches or heck, even my $1,500 TAG Carrera.

Oh well, I guess that's why God gave us leather straps. ;)
