My new Explorer 1!

Thought I'd share some pictures of the newest member of my watch collection.

I had an Exp1 Mk1 back in 2014 that I ended up selling. I've missed it, and this new one with the marked numerals and slightly longer hands just perfects an already near perfect watch in my opinion. Happy to have it on my wrist again!

I love this watch!! Having a tough time justifying another purchase, I just bought a Sub and a DJ41 within a week of one another...lol The Explorer 1 is on my hit list though

I think that’s actually an “Explorer”, not an “Explorer I”. ;-)

Either way, congrats! Great pics, too.

As another recent acquirer I can say you have exceptional taste. I now see how many folks say this could be an only watch!

No lumeshots yet, but the lume really is great. I charge it up before I go to bed and place it on my nightstand. The lume really holds the charge well and remains visible for hours, so if I wake up during the night there's no need to grab the phone to check the time.

Those are stunning shots bud! That black and white one!!!

Congrats!

...

Side note, did Rolex switch all professional models to the Medium size boxes now? I’ve noticed it with the Daytona and now this Explorer for 2019
