Rolex Closing on Lincoln Road Miami Beach

The Rolex AD on Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road closes definitively on Saturday 27 April. Sources tell me that their sales didn’t warrant the high cost real estate cost and, lack of (ss) watches was also a major factor...

I guess they never managed to sell that white gold yachtmaster II, feel like it was the only watch that was there every time I’d visit every 3 months the past 2 years

It saddens me to see many ADs closing! But that particular location hardly felt like a Rolex AD. I’m pretty sure Mayors was sending their unsellable models there. I may be wrong, but that’s the impression I got every time I visited.

Well the boutique in the Design District isn't much more than a stone's throw away numerous Mayors in the area. Of course none of them are likely to have any SS Sports reference lying around if that's what you're looking for :(

Or if he doesn’t know who DavidSW is.... he’s a grey market watch dealer that has a great selection of rolexes at market (currently inflated) prices, but still better than walking into empty displays

Yes, and Mayors International Mall, which is where the Lincoln Road staff are being relocated I believe.

It must be said that the staff in that particular store was particularly incompetent.
I think they just closed because of the high rents, that part of Lincoln is losing all its long-time tenants.
