Incoming!!! PM edition

I’m happy to introduce my new watch and the first Daytona to my collection! I’ve been wanting a Daytona for a long time. Like everyone else, I was mostly trying for the white 500c but came to the conclusion that wasn’t happening any time soon and started focusing on PM. I like all types of Rolex, vintage, modern, super case, 36 mm etc. I think all can have a place in a collection but the Daytona I feel is the one that fits my wrist size (6.85 inches approx) and shape the best. Love it!

I really like a Daytona with contrasting subdials to the main dial and was torn between a few variations of that combo. Also went back and forth between bracelet and oysterflex. That champagne dial with black subdials on oysterflex is fantastic.

I finally tuned out all the noise and just quietly listened to which one sang the loudest, and here she is:

I can't wait for mine to have a patina like yours. I almost bought a 116528 circa 2003 because of how great it looks with some history behind it.

Wow - that's the PM version of the Daytona I want, spectacular and great decision IMO.

I love my 116520 black dial, but if given a choice of any of the new Daytona's and the one you selected, not even a contest, that PM Daytona hands down any day of the week, month, year or century.

Grail piece for me, and an absolutely mind blowingly gorgeous watch....jealous meter at 11!!!

Congratulations!
