Rolex versus Minnie Mouse

Took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to look at watches. Visited an AD in Denver and asked her to pick out a watch. She said that what she wanted was a Minnie Mouse watch. Here’s the results!

I see she got the mark ii edition. That bezel is clearly darker pink than the first iteration. ;-)

Congrats! It's nice to see the hobby and passion being shared with the next generation.

I love it. Well done. It is good to see others from the Centennial State on the forum.

Your granddaughter is already a WIS!

I like the bezel on her watch. It has those cool notches as if it's rotatable. Or is it rotatable, perhaps?

Does not rotate. My granddaughter sleeps with it. Outside of taking a bath she won’t take it off.

The next drama is whether she should wear to daycare.

A fitting watch

To your grand daughter
That's her equivalent of a Rolex.

Wow take a lady into a AD and you make it out with just that. Lucky guy!

But seriously what a fun way to introduce her to the hobby. Life is made all the more special by the pleasant unexpected.

My 3yo daughter would love that watch too! She's got a couple Disney-themed ones but nothing as cool as that Minnie Mouse watch..
