Does Rolex "bundle " to the AD's

If an AD buys from Rolex a large amount of gold or gold /diamond watches . Does the AD get an extra stainless Daytona or BLRO

Rolex forces them to buy certain watches. Why do you think they go to Basel? Based on what and how much they sell they get allocations of specific models. This is my understanding so if I am wrong someone will correct me.

I was told by a prominent AD while in South Africa that for every “professional” watch they order, they need to order two “classic” models in addition. That was at the beginning of the year. He also mentioned they can order as many professional pieces as they want, but doesn’t mean they’ll get it. Can’t be sure it’s entirely accurate?

I’ve had two different ADs tell me that going to Basel increases their chances of getting a more desirable allotment and the approximate number of watches to expect for the year. Who knows if it’s true or not.

I've heard something along these lines as well. May not be very "21st century" but this makes sense to me. AD reps need to show face at the big event as part of the "check the box" list to be on the best terms with the mothership.
