No one is the case number, the other the movement number which is different from the case serial, like on all Rolex watches from the very start of the RWC till present time.

Yes, that is the movement number that originally came on the watch with that serial number. If you have a certificate with a serial number and movement number but only the serial number matches the watch then most likely the movement was replaced at some point in its life.

Today I went to an AD Rolex and I opened the lid, all correct and the numbers of the movement match perfectly. When I have time I will do a report on this Day-Date of 1969
