Rehaut crown lined up at 12?
Before I get killed, no I don't really care, but seems like every new watch I see, the crown at 12 is never aligned properly. Usually seems to be off to the right.
Between my father and I, we have 2 x DJ41 and a ceramic sub date and all three are slightly to the right. Thought I'd see what others have experienced.

Great security feature, huh?
I bet Rolex “clocks” each engraved rehaut once the dial is installed to document exactly where it sits. I guess I’m drawing some of the Fire your feared would kill you... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Never thought of checking this (or many other things) but have to admit you caused me to take a look right away. Perfectly centered on my DJ41.

I'll check my other models, but my 16570 is clocked to the right. However, that means my serial number at 6 o'clock is is perfectly centered in relation to the 6 o'clock marker.

As centred as it gets. I do think many are looking at it from a non perfect angle hence the impression of being off centre.

Mine's slightly to the left on my Sub. It freaked me out for a second before I searched and realized it wasn't uncommon.

On my SD43, the rehaut is perfectly centered. The bezel is slightly to the left, however.

Hard to check these things without a loupe or closing one eye. Parallax will play tricks on your eyes.

Three of my Rolex watches have engraved rehauts and the coronets are all close enough that I have never noticed their alignment.

They all are.
The rehaut crown is perfectly centred on every single Rolex.
Its the dials that are off

Both my Sub and GMT II are centered, but my friends BLNR has the rehaut crown over the 59 minute marker

this is applicable only to my 116710BLNR. all my other watches they are lined up perfectly; on my blnr it’s ever so slightly off to the right.

None of mine are lined up perfectly. the dials are off slightly, either left or right, on every one, and pretty much every one I’ve looked at in a store
Doesn’t bother me. Is what it is This is also on top of the weird magnification I’ve seen on some ceramic GMTs in the ADs i.e. it doesn’t look magnified enough |

Nice post. My BLNR is slightly ( very sightly to the right ) to the right however triangle of the bezel is spot on.
Question to you smart people : Everyone is saying that actual dial should be turned towards crown. Fair play. What would happen to triangle of the bezel ? If the dial would go slightly right to match the crown than triangle will be slightly off ? How would RSC fix this in a correct way ? Thank you in advance. |
