Vintage Date 1974-75
Newly acquired ref 15007 from 1974-75. The case and bracelet are 18 k, diameter is 34mm. Movement is a 3035. It has all boxes, booklet, service booklet, polishing cloth.

It’s a fine example of why never to buy 18k gold. It gets mashed.

Where's the mashed part? Picture looks blurry and unfocused. Apologies on the photography critique OP… Very nice!

Good one. Enjoy it
It represents a time when...well this hobby was saner. A time when Rolex collecting life was slower and oh so mellow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Lovely looking watch, up there for me with DD for me. Would love to find that example in a 1971 year with all the boxes etc.

Now that's a real Rolex ...
Styling that was great 40 plus years back and still looks great today
The reliabity of the (new at the time) Rolex 3035 movement That great movement protected from the elements by a handsome 14k case Simply a great watch ! |

I, at least, salute the vast majority of TRF, and am proud to be a part of it. And, BTW . . . I think that's a really nice old DJ, too! (But it's gonna have to be 20 years older for me to call it a "birth year watch" !!

My DJ is not as old as me perhaps, but wiser methinks...
