A Tale of 2 DateJust 41s... and impatience

So I was on the hunt for a DateJust 41 in a certain configuration and dial color. Managed to get my name on a couple of AD “lists”. After waiting 2 months, I got impatient and picked up a LNIB watch. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted but the itch was scratched. One week later, a very nice AD texts me and said “got exactly what you want and it’s yours if you respond ASAP”. As I was out of town for the week, a couple of texts and a modest deposit, I was able to pick up the one I really wanted today. So I’m stuck with 2 and even have thoughts of keeping both (you know how you justify these things). But I’ve come to my senses and one must go. Wanna guess which one is a keeper?

Blue jubilee?
The blue is the hardest to find, or so I’ve been told.

I know!

You ordered the Blue dial and bought the Black to tide you over.

Now, you are keeping the Black and selling the Blue!

Do I win something?

Keep both if you can. DJ41 has become very scarce in the NY area especially the blue dial

God help us all - me too!

Ordered Dark Rhodium - returned and have blue incoming.

It's a sickness. And an expensive one.

Blue dial, fluted bezel on jubilee is definitely hardest to find and it’s a gorgeous piece. Let me put it to you this way. I had a really hard time finding that configuration for a DJ 31 for my wife last Christmas. It’s a keeper.

I would keep the blue one. It's my perfect DJ41 SS configuration (or would be if I ever bought one). What you do is entirely up to you.

Keep the Blue.

I’ve got the fluted Blue dial DJ2. Wearing it now. It’s a beautiful watch.
