Experts, can anyone help identify this watch?

Hey everyone, I hope i havent posted in the wrong area of the forum here. I wanted to put a question to the pro's, I've been trying to find the exact model number of a Rolex watch ive fallen in love with!

I think its a Datejust but could be Day Date? Obviously its got the two tone Jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel, I love how the Saphire glass is raised up a lot more than most models I've seen, is this an older watch perhaps?

Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

(All the same watch worn by the same person, unfortunately I couldn't find any closer pictures)

Cheers

Definitely a DJ. Day-dates aren't offered on Jubilee and the only two tone day-dates were the tridor models which are very distinct.

That raised crystal almost looks like an older acrylic crystal.
I dont know if a chocolate dial was offered on the DJ. It could be the slate or possibly champagne. Its hard to tell

I am pretty sure it is a 16013 - older Datejust. Mine has the acrylic crystal with 14k gold.

Has the look of a vintage Datejust with the prominent acrylic crystal. Only problem I see with the watch are on the endlinks in the top photo. It might be an aftermarket bracelet as those vintage pieces didn't have the protruding faux links on their endlink pieces.

Or just a replacement Rolex bracelet. A pretty common response to older bracelets getting worn and stretchy is to buy a new one at a servicing, which often is more recent than the original.

You guys are great! Thanks a lot for the help. I did wonder if it was older and something other than Saphire, its very prominent for sure.

The protruding links are part of a 63603 bracelet on a six digit watch

Definitely an older Datejust. This is mine from mid-70s. The good news is that they are plentiful and bought well don’t cost the earth. Dials are also readily available.

No holes on case so can’t be too old

Good spot. Crystal seems very tall for a no-holes case. Hopefully not a Michael Korrs

I happened to be wearing what appears to be that same watch today. A 16233 Datejust with a Slate Roman dial. Dial color looks darker in different lighting.

To be fair, I had never heard of him until the OP posted this:
