It’s been a while since I’ve last posted... question
Hope all is well with everyone here on TRF... it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything and I’m kind of back with a newish purchase.
I recently purchased a TT bluesy with warranty card dated 10/02/2016 and was wondering if this would include that new 5 year warranty that comes with the watches and if not then when did that 5 year warranty start? The back of the case of my watch has a little bulge that’s kind of driving me crazy and was wondering if a RSC would be able to fix it. Thanks again and below are the pictures of what I’m talking about.

5 year warranty started July 2015, so yes, you have it. Not sure about the bulge because it looks like it was smashed into something, and that's probably what they'll say as well.

If it’s that ding I see on the edge of the case, that looks pretty deep. Polishing to take that out would require removing a lot of metal. Maybe laser welding would be a better solution !

Laser weld likely required and won’t be covered by warranty (e.g. ding occurred under your ownership), contact Rolliworks. You likely don’t need a service.

Haha! Yes I love my avatar. I’ve been doing pretty good and yourself? Hopefully I frequent the forums as much as I used to and get back in the game

Thanks everyone for the reply! I didn’t notice it when I purchased the watch and just noticed it last night.
As far as polishing it, I don’t want to polish it unless I absolutely need to and I know it’s not a big deal since it is in the bottom where no one can see it.

It’s been a while since I’ve last posted... question
Quote:
Its contactless micro welding using light rather than electrical arc. In combination with fill wire we can fill dents or holes with new material (often stainless steel). We then work the new material down until smooth. Its beats grinding steel down to reach the bottom of the dent. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxlalSUn...d=wbaud62apdc5 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Seeing the photos that I posted, even though they’re not great because of photobucket lol, how much do you think it’ll run for the 904l laser weld on that spot and refinish? I can email better quality photos as well for a better quote. Thank you!
