So, I dropped my new Tudor Black Bay GMT on the floor and the movement is loose in there. Nice.

Just heard from Rolex Dallas RSC. Twelve weeks for the parts.

May I please get some kicks in the a** from the appropriate members here?

When I dropped mine they said some part was on back order and was going to take an extra 4 weeks or so. In the end they got it back in half that time. Hopefully 12 weeks is a high end estimate.

Ben, I wouldn't give you a kick in the ass for dropping the Tudor, but I'll be happy to give you a condescending head shake for buying it in the first place.

Hi Dan. I was just walking across our (hard tiled of course!) bathroom and it slipped out of my hand. Wish I had a better story! Anyway.

Hope it is home soon as I’ve barely had a chance to wear it. It’s a beauty!

Have to agree Dan afraid today many look through the watch world with Rolex blinkered glasses, and many today dont wear a watch they just wear the brand..

May be, but it seems I read a lot of threads on here along the lines of ‘bought a Tudor, the date didn’t change (or something), sent it back, took ages, came back still broken and also now scratched up etc.’

Even if I could get past the snowflake hour hand which is a sticking point the amount of posts about defects coupled with an exhausted supply chain would put me off buying a new one.

I'm sorry for your misfortune, but let me at least share a positive.

When I bought my GMT, I ordered the leather strap (b/c I couldn't make up my mind lol) and was given that same time frame (3 months) that it would take to arrive. I didn't care, because I was going to just wear it on the bracelet anyway.

The strap only took a week or two to arrive, however. Maybe the same will hold true for you. Fingers crossed.

I'm not going to yell or kick; I am just going to say I am disappointed.

Seriously, this could happen to any of us. Tile bathroom floors seem to be the main culprit.
