RG AP ROO 44mm and cash for SS Pepsi and SS white dial Daytona?
I’ve been waiting and waiting for prices to come down but reality is that if I want a Pepsi and Daytona I am going to have to accept paying a large premium.
I have a Rose Gold AP ROO 44mm that i never wear anymore. Mainly because of size. I have been offered a trade of this plus around $7k cash for a SS Pepsi and SS ceramic white dial Daytona. Would you do this?

If that is what makes you happy then go for it. I have owned multiple Pepsi and multiple Daytonas over list and was always able to move them easily for roughly even money. Not too risky buying the blue chips.

Yes. Only because it is an offshore. If it was a regular RO or a jumbo that would be a solid no.

I won't hesitate to trade, or sell off a watch I don't wear. just check the numbers and be sure you are making the best trade. And yes A BLRO and a white dial Daytona would both be so nice to own.

I wouldn't, not for two watches with such greatly inflated values, plus having to add 7K.
But, you do you....

Love my 44 RG but if you are not wearing it then go for these two, along with the LVc they are my fave three SS Rolexes, altho might be worth adding some more cash for a PP 5164, my very fave SS watch, plus you are covered for Rolex.

If you're ok with the premiums then go for it.
You're talking 21k worth of Rolex vs 40k of AP. I couldn't stomach that. |
