That is your choice to make. Is this your only Rolex? If it’s your one and only I would go Sub. If you have other divers then the Daytona!

Sub for sure. I'd have a hard time paying PM money for a rubber strap.

Gold Submariner. That’s from someone who has both.

thank you all for your first answers. actually the 116619LB is beautiful and can be worn everywhere. Now I do not know if it is difficult to obtain. A Monaco distributor told me he was going to receive one.

By all means Daytona 116519, versatile, beautiful and last but not least will appreciate in time. As of me milky blue colour of Smurfy lacks lustre and shine, milky shade of appearance. But you have to see both in real, otherwise it will be someone else taking a decision instead of you.

I own the Smurf (Your problably tired of my photos) so that gets my vote. I never tire of the blueness. I owned the Platona and traded for the Smurf (and cash).

The Daytona is more versatile, and the sunburst dial is much more pleasing than the matte blue imo

both are nice
you need buy Sub first and Daytona next
its like level one and level two in Rolex
but the Sub you are refering is white gold which is close to level of daytona but still one level below

Sub gets my vote. I would be more than happy to own 3 or 4 different Subs as my entire collection.

I'm sorry to finally take this out on you....But pictures like this make the watch look like absolute hell. Far too zoomed in and macro, you can see so many little flaws/dirt/dust/scratches and by far worst of all, the proportions get all jacked up because of natural fisheye nature of the lens. Please respect these watches by holding your phones/cameras a couple feet away when snapping a pic. Scroll up and see how much better the first posted pic looks...Distance please.

As you were...

Hard to help with your decision. While both are white gold, one reference is full pm case and bracelet while the other is on leather strap or oyster flex depending on when produced. I like Daytona PM on oyster flex, It is the updated modern look with the cerachrom bezel.
